I had a great time at Sardonyx Ueno! The location is unbeatable, just minutes from Ueno Park and Ameyoko. The room was cozy and clean, even if a bit small. Loved the convenient luggage forwarding service too!

The culinary scene nearby is a riot! Yamabe Okachimachi for fresh sashimi and Niku no Ohyama for the best wagyu. Plus, the cozy breakfast included, while simple, got me started each day. Staff even whisked my bags to my room, making life a breeze!

Under the beds was rather dirty, but I mean it’s Tokyo—dust bunnies are basically artifacts here. That aside, everything else still shined with cleanliness and charm!

The Standard Room was comfy, with a queen bed that felt way more luxurious than expected! It was a bit tight on space, especially with my big luggage, but I managed alright. Bathroom had everything you needed, even if it was compact. Air conditioning was centrally controlled, so that was a bit annoying when it got chilly. But honestly, the cleanliness was top-notch every day! Perfect for a short stay.

The location is excellent, just a short stroll to spots like Asakusa and Ueno Park. Our family had a cozy stay in the twin room, where we appreciated the cleanliness and the convenience of nearby shops. The staff were super helpful, providing umbrellas during the rain.
